15 Easy Ways to Make $30 Quickly

There are many reasons why people want or need to make money fast. Luckily, there are options to do just that. I can’t tell you how much my life has changed since I found this happy world of side hustles.

Side hustles are often the key to making money fast – and once you get the hang of it, you can make as much as $30 fast.

These are ways to make a small amount of money in a short amount of time and will give you a taste of what the side hustle world is all about. If you apply a few of these ideas, you can make $30 or more in a day.

How to Make $30 Quickly

But for now, here are some ways you can make $30 fast.

  1. Start earning inbox income
InboxDollars is a site that pays you for completing many tasks including surveys. Right now they are offering a $5 cash bonus just for signing up.

Some of the tasks they pay for include.

Doing surveys
Watching videos
Playing games
Searching the web
Downloading apps
When you complete offers that appeal to you, your cash balance increases and you can cash out via PayPal (or a gift card to your favorite store).

In addition, when you share your referral code with your friends and those friends sign up for their own InboxDollars accounts, InboxDollars will pay you a 10% bonus based on all of your friends’ earnings!

So if your friend makes $100 in qualifying earnings, you will automatically get $10 deposited into your InboxDollars account.

  1. Sign up for Ibotta
I’m relatively new to Ibotta. I signed up for it to do research for an article I was writing. I’m not always a fan of these types of rewards programs because I often find them to be time consuming.

Ibotta helps you make money by finding money-saving offers on things you buy. As you save more and more, you can ask to have the balance transferred to your PayPal or similar account so you can get cash on the spot.

Fortunately, Ibotta has a couple of advantages. First, the Ibotta smartphone app is very easy to use. When you sign up, you’ll be asked to choose the stores you shop at most often.

Ibotta has over 300 different stores on their list (over 500,000 stores), which means you’ll probably find at least some of your favorite stores on their list.

As you choose your favorite stores, cash back offers on different items start pouring in.

Between signup bonuses, your own personal cash savings and referral income, you can easily make $30 or more in a day.

  1. Earn $30 for quick surveys
There are several companies that will pay you to take surveys as well. The beauty of these money making opportunities is that you can make money online even if you only have a few minutes of free time.

Because most surveys are relatively short, you can make money in a few minutes, then move on to something else and come back for more.

Not all survey companies are created equal. It’s important to do some research to find out which companies have the highest payout rates and the best reputations. One of our favorite survey companies is survey Junkie.

Survey Junkie is highly rated on many review sites and is considered one of the higher paying survey sites.

Realize that you have to put in a lot of time and effort to make $30 or more from surveys, but if you’re committed to putting in the work, the cash will add up quickly.

  1. Use Rakuten when shopping
When you shop at your favorite stores, Rakuten will give you cash back to help you make money. Here’s how it works.

You start by signing up for a Rakuten account. Don’t worry, it’s free to join.

At the time of writing, Rakuten is currently offering a $10 signup bonus. Who doesn’t like free money? To qualify, you’ll need to make at least $25 or more in purchases within the first year of signing up.

The key to getting cashback discounts through Rakuten is to make sure you visit the stores you want to shop online through the Rakuten portal. When you shop, you get a rebate from Rakuten.

They give you a certain percentage of cash back depending on which store you shop at.

For example, if you shop at Walmart, you’ll get a 1% cash back bonus. If you shop at Kohl ‘s, you’ll get a 3% cash back bonus.

Specialty stores can have higher discount amounts. You can get a 6% cash back discount for shopping at Macy’s, and Barnes and Noble is currently offering a 10% cash back discount through Rakuten.

I’ve seen discounts of up to 40 percent on the site, which offers cash back at more than 1,800 stores. But at most popular stores (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.), you’ll get between 1% and 10% off.

  1. Make $30 by selling your stuff quickly
If you’re like most people, you can easily find things in your house or apartment that you no longer need or want.

Got designer clothes or accessories? Do your kids no longer need children’s or baby items? Are there unused electronics around the house? Sell them on eBay, Facebook or Craigslist.

Want to get rid of some video games, dvds or cds ? See what you can buy on sites like Decluttr or take them to half price book sites and get your cash back right away.

The more stuff you sell, and the more valuable that stuff is, the more money you make. If you do a thorough search of your stuff and collect a few things you can sell, you can easily make $30, $50 or more.

Old smartphones, gaming systems, accessories, tablets, and other electronics tend to sell particularly well. Check out our article 18 Websites to Sell Used Electronics Easily for more information.

Depending on the type of used electronics you have, you may be able to make $100 or more a day.

  1. Do some cleaning
There are a lot of people out there who need to clean their house, garage, basement, small business or other space.

Today’s busy world leaves little time for cleaning and organizing. You can make $30 or less in an hour doing just one cleaning job.

Advertise your services on your local Facebook community page or Craigslist. Or simply send a note to family, friends, and neighbors asking if they have a cleaning job they need help with.

Before you start looking for work, determine what your specialty is and combine it with your talents.

Do you specialize in deep cleaning? Organization? Weekly maintenance cleaning? Do what best suits your talents and skills so clients will keep coming back.

  1. Sign up to be a carpool driver
Another popular side hustle in the world of making money is an Uber or Lyft driver. I know a few people who have started making money by driving people around.

One of their favorite things about this job is that they get to make money while driving and earn more tips.

Getting permission to use a YouTuber can take a few weeks or even longer. Once you start driving, you can withdraw money quickly by signing up for Instant Pay.

You can cash out your earnings up to five times a day with your debit card.

Friends, there are many side hustles that can make you money fast. Start researching this money making opportunity and find out what avenue works best for you.

I work when I want, from the comfort of my own home, during the hours I choose.

It’s great to make a small amount of money quickly, but it’s also great to make a regular income from non-traditional gigs.

  1. Host a gig or event on Craigslist
Craigslist has a section of the site dedicated to one-off gigs and day/weekend events. People might advertise needing help packing or moving, doing some landscaping, or doing home repairs.

Craigslist also has an “Events” section under its “Gigs” directory. Companies usually hire workers for a day or weekend.

These people will help with events such as concerts, public events that require brand ambassadors, one- or two-day stints on movie sets, or tasks related to one-off events such as the Superbowl.

Many of these odd jobs are paid for by reputable companies who only need help for a day or two. This is because it’s more cost-effective to hire someone off the street rather than a permanent employee.

A word of caution:There are unethical people advertising on these types of sites (just like on any public forum). Take safety measures before accepting odd jobs and make sure you’re dealing with a reputable company.

  1. Help people take care of their pets
Pet care is another area where you can make a quick $30. People always need help taking care of their pets.

You can offer to walk dogs, look after pets when their owners are away, or pick up dog poop in the yard.

Or you could start a mobile dog cleaning business. All of these pet-related jobs are in high demand and could earn you $30 in no time.

Advertise on your local Facebook community page before creating a listing on Facebook Marketplace.

  1. Taking care of children

Babysitters are also in high demand these days, and parents usually pay well for a few hours of babysitting.

If you love kids, are responsible, and know how to work with children, you can make up to $30 quickly as a babysitter.

You can find work by creating a profile on Care.com. Or you can simply tell family, friends, or in your neighborhood that you offer babysitting services.

Check out some profiles, like Care.com, to find out what other babysitters in your area are charging so you know how much to charge for your services.

  1. Find upward or upwardly mobile jobs
Upwork is a website that matches people looking for odd jobs with people who need tasks done, big or small.

You create a profile and then look for jobs and apply for jobs that fit your skills.

Fiverr is a similar site to Upwork. The main difference between the two is that Fiverr specializes in ultra-short-term jobs that usually only pay $5.

Use this site to find quick jobs that fit your talents and earn up to $30 in a short amount of time. As with Upwork, you’ll need to create a profile on Fiverr.

  1. Work with TaskRabbit
TaskRabbit is a website that helps people find people to do odd jobs.

When you create a profile on TaskRabbit, you might find everything from fixing a leaky faucet to assembling furniture.

Or you could work as a delivery driver or a one-man moving service. Setting up TVs and installing electronic equipment are also jobs you can find on TaskRabbit.

You can decide what type of work you do and how much you’ll get paid.

  1. Car wash
Car washes are another way to make a quick $30. Charge around $10 per car and within 10-20 minutes of getting it done, you’ll make at least $30 in an hour.

All you need is a hose, a bucket, some soap, a sponge and some towels. You can host a car wash at your home or use a customer’s hose and water as a mobile car wash.

If you carry a mobile vacuum cleaner with you to give the interior of each car a quick vacuum, that’s a few extra bucks.
